The Ocean View’s Bistro Bar and Dining Room is our luxurious-yet-relaxed 2nd level dining facility, where you will come for the food and stay for the view. Located on the second floor the hotel, the Oceans Room offers panoramic views of the Rocky Harbour waterfront through its large harbourview windows. New for 2025 is our Ocean View and Bar featuring an upscale menu, handcrafted cocktails and Quidi Vidi craft beers. We also have a brand new 2nd level deck with the best sunset views in town.
By day, take in the goings-on of our picturesque fishing town while having a relaxed bite. By night, enjoy a splendid sunset dinner, then see the coastline glisten in sync with the star-encrusted sky and watch the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse diligently perform its illuminating duties.
With your wide eyes satisfied, your belly is soon to follow. Feast on seafood sourced from local suppliers like lobster, codfish, halibut, salmon, shrimp, scallops, mussels and more. Sample meatier offerings, like premium ribeye beef and rotisserie chicken.
Served up by our hometown team of chefs and cooks, our dishes are complimented with locally sourced ingredients and vegetables, along with desserts based on local delicacies like partridge berries bakeapples. Anchor Pub Hours
Daily – 12:00 noon to close
In addition to being the home of the Ocean View’s house band, Anchors Aweigh and many other music and entertainment offerings, The Anchor Pub is also a great place to enjoy pub grub and a beer, and socialize with friends old and new.
Enjoy our traditional spirits and drinks, featuring the full line-up of Newfoundland’s own Quidi Vidi specialty beers (bottle and tap). For casual dining, the Anchor Pub has a great menu and a waterfront deck ideal for outdoor dining.
